Inflation allows people to get rich by speculation, skipping hard work. It rewards reckless gambling and irresponsible adventures. The inevitable outcome is that the whole community will be demoralized. Squandering, flaunting of wealth, luxury, jealousy, resentment, angst are all the necessary evils. It tears apart the tissues of society and separates the unity of all classes. When a nation spires into disintegration, the blame will land on not those who initialize such a scheme, but on the gamblers, on the financial system, and possibly eventually on the idea of capitalism itself.
